How Stalin, Mao & Hitler and the USSR & PRC & NSDAP were influenced by the USA's swastika symbolism and more.

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag The Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of Adolf Hitler's "Nazi" salute under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis).

Francis Bellamy & Edward Bellamy touted National Socialism in the USA decades before their dogma was exported to Germany.
The swastika, although an ancient symbol, was also used to represent "S" letters joined for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis), similar to the alphabetical symbolism for the SS Division, the SA, the NSV, and the VW logo (the letters "V" and "W" joined for "Volkswagen").

New discoveries show that American soldiers used the swastika as their symbol early in World War I, and up to 1941, against Germany. The symbol was used by Americans in the French Escadrille Lafayette, by the 45th Infantry Divison, and on Boeing P-12 planes.

The discoveries are in the growing body of work by the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). He has previously shown how socialists in the USA originated the modern swastika as overlapping "S" letters for "Socialists" joining together in a utopian "Socialist Society." Decades later, it was used by the National Socialist German Workers Party.

There is also evidence that the U.S. flew Spad XIII Fighter planes that bore swastikas in WWI. see and The photos show swastikas that are not in the S-direction, however, it is possible that the actual fighters bore swastikas in the S-direction, or in both directions, or that the modern plastic models (1984 American Plastic Model Co. Ltd, made in Korea) were designed to distance the U.S. military from the use of the classic S-direction swastika that pre-dated such use by the National Socialist German Workers Party.

There is also evidence that the military still uses swastika symbolism in the Navy's Coronado Seabees Barracks in California (as shown below and/or in this photo).

During the time when American soldiers adopted the swastika, the symbol was associated in the USA with the growing popularity of "military socialism," a dogma touted by Edward Bellamy, the American author of the international bestseller "Looking Backward," (1887) known as the bible of National Socialism.
Swastika Luck Star Protect your from Bullets & Shells
A postcard from that period and made in the USA bears a swastika and the wording: "Lucky Star - May this emblem protect you well from every bullet, every shell."

It is interesting to note that the swastika employed by the military in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics also combined the swastika with the star.

The symbol was also famous in the USA as alphabetical symbolism for socialism in the Theosophical Society (TS), from 1875.

In 1888, the Theosophical Society teamed up with Bellamy's Nationalist movement for military socialism.  The "Bellamy swastika" spread.

By 1915, the symbol was also widely popular as an ornamental "Good Luck" symbol, as in a 1915 postcard showing the American flag posed favorably with a swastika and the phrase "May our glorious flag and this lucky star guide you and keep you wherever you are."

The swastika was also on American cars (e.g. the Krit Motor Car Company of Detroit) long before it was associated with German cars and the Volkswagen VW. Was the Krit logo the design inspiration for the hakenkreuz under the NSGWP?

For more information on the swastika as alphabetical symbolism see

By adopting the symbol, American soldiers influenced the swastika as an alphabetic symbol of socialism around the world, where the symbol had previously been a generic ancient symbol.

Graduates/victims of government schools may find it hard to believe: Americans used the straight-arm gesture, wore swastika shoulder patches and flew planes adorned with swastikas in war against Germany, and they did it all decades before the same was done under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP).  The USA was the origin of that behavior under German National Socialism. The Bellamys influenced the NSDAP, its dogma, symbols and rituals.

Similar behavior was promoted by Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

The government in the United States used the fasces symbol before it was adopted by Mussolini when he was a well-known socialist writer and leader. In 1915, fasces appeared on an Indian head gold coin in the talons of an eagle. In 1916, fasces appeared on the Mercury dime. Both examples were under the democrat Woodrow Wilson (elected in 1912 and re-elected in 1916). A small crossed fasces also appeared on an obscure U..S. Senate seal as early as 1885 (of course, the very term "senate" harkens to Roman times) and fasces are in the rostrum of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Wilson's use of the fasces was propaganda to con Americans into another one of the many stupid wars that the USA's government either started or joined: WWI (the war to make the world safe for democracy, har har). That propaganda supplemented flag waving, the Pledge of Allegiance (with its stiff-armed salute) and similar silliness.

During WWI, Mussolini was a well-known socialist leader and writer. Mussolini also wanted Italians to join the USA and the allies in World War I against the Austro/German forces. He followed fascist footsteps from the USA.

Mussolini mimicked military socialism in the USA as touted by Francis Bellamy (author of the "Pledge of Allegiance") and Edward Bellamy (author of "Looking Backward").

Edward Bellamy's book was an international bestseller translated into every major language, including Italian.

National Socialism originated in the USA.

The fasces symbol appears in Congress

It is used in other government seals and symbols

The fasces is on the seal of the Rome Academy where Francis Bellamy (1855-1932) attended school.

Worlds Dumbest Criminals. Socialist Crusades, Socialist Crusaders, Occult socialism

Look at the ignorance at this blog post for librarians
It asks "who gave socialism a bad name?" and then only mentions Adolf Hitler. Here is the response that was sent: You commit the classic stereotype of mentioning only Hitler & German National Socialists, who came in a distant(?) third place in murders/atrocities in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): Stalin & and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with ~60 million killed; Mao and the Peoples' Republic of China, ~50 million; Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party, ~20 million).

Those are only some of the many groups/people who gave socialists/socialism a bad name.  It causes people who want to rehabilitate socialism to hide the truth and lie about it.

The typo Socialst appears eight times in OhioLINK, along with Socalis* three times, and Socailis* twice. What's in a name? Not that much, it seems, but if you have to choose one, go with something snazzy. (Note: Naziism is a variant spelling of Nazism, but Nazzism would be a typo.)

The groups/people who committed the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part?  Stalin and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with ~60 million killed; Mao and the Peoples' Republic of China, ~50 million; Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party, ~20 million).

Some people would say that the socialist typos AND YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT THEM reveal more than you intended to reveal. It certainly seems that way to people who know the facts above. You have committed a classic stereotypical error that many people recognize even if you don't.

You might also wish to recall that Mao started out with guidance and support from Stalin, and that Stalin and Hitler invaded Poland together as allies in a pact to divide up Europe (and in an apparent contest to see who could kill the most people, which Stalin won hands down, err bodies down). Actually, Stalin, Lenin and Soviet Socialism also had a head-start on Hitler.

You should help update your readers about Hitler's place among people who gave socialism a bad name and also explain the "typo" socialist "Wholecaust."

In "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" a dead collector with a cart shouts "bring out your dead" and then takes and kills someone who is not yet dead.

The Monty Python scene is comedy. But under Stalin and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics it actually happened. For example in the Ukraine where Soviet Socialists stole everyone's food and abandoned them to starve to death by the thousands each day, adding up to millions murdered.  Socialism's dead collectors would take people who were not yet dead (it saved a second trip the next day).

The Monty Python scene is set in medieval times during the plague (an actual disease).  The Soviet Socialist scene in the Ukraine was set in modern times and did not involve any actual disease at all.

People had very strange beliefs in the middle ages concerning religion, sciences, spirits, disease, et cetera. The people in the middle ages seem almost insane compared to people today (and "modern knowledge"), or even when compared to what people knew during the time of Soviet Socialism.

Yet, in the modern era, socialists set and hold the worst records in all of human history in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part). When compared with modern socialists, the people in the middle ages seem like super-geniuses.

"Whatever the psychology of those who support government, they should have the government they want. Only they should not impose that government on those of us who don’t want it. We do not all have to be in the same government boat even if all of us continue to live on this continent. There is nothing sacred about the Union, the U.S.A., or the U.S. Constitution. It has not been written anywhere that we must be "one Nation, under God, indivisible." The parts about "one Nation" and "indivisible" do not appear anywhere in my Bible, which is the Holy Bible. The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by one Francis Bellamy. It has been an annoyance to schoolchildren ever since. As taxes imposed on non-consenters violate rights, so is the Pledge of Allegiance an oath against property and the right to one’s person."  -- Michael S. Rozeff is a retired Professor of Finance living in East Amherst, New York.

Guns don't kill people.....socialism does.
National socialism was specifically promoted in the USA in 1888 by Edward Bellamy, author of the book "Looking Backward." Roosevelt was so impressed by Bellamy's book that Roosevelt wrote "Looking Forward" to impose Bellamy's national socialism in America.

Bellamy's book was an international bestseller and was tranlsated into every major language including German, Russian and Chinese. Clubs sprang up in the USA and worldwide for touting the book's ideas. The Bellamy dogma influenced socialists worldwide, including the countries of the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million dead under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP).

(Re: Edward Bellamy) Objections to Socialism in the Bruce Herald, Volume XXII, Issue 2338, 12 January 1892, Page 2

Roosevelt's book was not an international bestseller. Roosevelt's policies were imposed by law on Americans, nevertheless.

Roosevelt also ended up on the side of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Peoples' Republic of China in World War II. At the end of WWII, Roosevelt helped to hand over half of Europe to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. After WWII, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Peoples' Republic of China went on to kill even more millions of people than had been killed by the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

I work for the "Stop The Pledge" foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to freeing Americans from the Pledge of Allegiance and its putrid past of robotic nazi-style brainwashing. Americans are ignorant about their Pledge of Allegiance. Please see the work of the historian Dr. Rex Curry cited in the book "Libertarian History" by the author Lin Xun. It includes these shockers: (1) that the "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag" was the origin of the Nazi salute and Nazi behavior; (2) that the military salute was the origin of the Nazi salute (via the military salute's use in the original Pledge of Allegiance) and; (3) Swastikas represented crossed "S" letter shapes for "socialist" under Hitler. At amazon At kindle The National Socialist German Workers Party was influenced by American National Socialists, including Francis Bellamy (author of the Pledge) and his cousin and cohort Edward Bellamy (the author of American books on National Socialism).
