The symbol of the Olympic Games is five interlocking rings and similar to the Audi symbol. It influenced the Audi symbol and is related to other symbolism under the National Socialist German Workers Party. http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter4a1a2a1.html

They Olympic ring symbol was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games.

In his article published in the "Olympic Revue" the official magazine of the International Olympic Committee in November 1992, the American historian Robert Barney explains that the idea of the interlaced rings came to Pierre de Coubertin when he was in charge of the USFSA, an association founded by the union of two French sports associations and until 1925, responsible for representing the International Olympic Committee in France: The emblem of the union was two interlaced rings (like the vesica piscis typical interlaced marriage rings) and originally the idea of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung because for him the ring meant continuity and the human being.

According to De Coubertin the different ring colors with the white background stand for those colors that appeared on all the national flags of the world at that time.

The 1914 Congress had to be suspended due to the outbreak of World War I, but the symbol (and flag) were later adopted. They would first officially debut at the VIIth Olympiad in Antwerp, Belgium in 1920.

The symbol's popularity and widespread use began during the lead-up to the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin under the National Socialist German Workers Party. The rings would subsequently be featured prominently in German National Socialist (Nazi) images in 1936 as part of an effort to glorify the union of socialists and socialist groups under Adoph Hitler, and is related to the joined rings for Audi cars and to the use of the swastika which, although an ancient symbol, was used to reperesent joined S-letters for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party, as shown by the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net/swastika-audi-logo.JPG

The Olympic ring symbol was used to promote Leni Riefenstahl's Olympic work, including the movie "Olympia." http://rexcurry.net/olympic-rings-symbol-audi.jpg

The official Olympic salute originated in the USA's Pledge of Allegiance, which used a stiff-armed salute, and was also the origin of the gesture adopted later under German National Socialism. http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance2.jpg

Francis Bellamy (author of the Pledge) was cousin and cohort of Edward Bellamy and they were both national socialists in the United States long before their dogma spread to Germany and worldwide. The Bellamys and socialist schools in the United States influenced German National Socialism, its dogma, symbols and rituals.
http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter1a1c.html
The Reverend George M. Docherty, pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, gave a sermon attended by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. "There is something missing in the pledge," said the Reverend, "something that is the characteristic and definitive factor in the American way of life... [A]part from the mention of the phrase, 'the United States of America,' it could be the pledge of any republic. In fact, I could hear little Muscovites repeat a similar pledge to their hammer-and-sickle flag in Moscow." http://rexcurry.net/pledgegobitas.html

Docherty was right. He was wrong when he thought that altering the pledge solved the problem. The President (Eisenhower) and Congress were wrong along with Docherty. But that was the case nearly every time they made any decision at all about anything.

Docherty was right that the pledge was consistent with the deadly dogma of socialism under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the Peoples Republic of China and the National Socialist German Workers Party (the pledge was the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted later under German national socialism, as shown by the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance.jpg

American national socialists (e.g. Francis Bellamy and Edward Bellamy) influenced the National Socialist German Workers Party, its dogma, symbols and rituals. http://rexcurry.net/stopthepledge.html

Americans still use the greeting "hello" as they did in the early 1900's, and it is related to the greeting adopted under German National Socialism ("Heil") and thus to "Heil Hitler." http://rexcurry.net/pledgesalute.html

The term "hello" is used for hailing people and is related to the phrase "Hail to the chief" (used for the leader of the USA) and "Hail fellow well met," and to these words: hail, heal, health. It is also related to the term "salud," meaning "health," and thus to the term "salute" and the act of saluting, which included the manner of saying "hello." http://rexcurry.net/words.html

The so-called "swastika" on the flag under German National Socialism represented two "S" letters for "socialism" and is related to "Sieg Heil!" in the sense of the NSGWP's cry of "Hail to the Victory of Socialism!"  See the work of the noted symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net/swastika.html

The stiff-armed salute used for chants to the swastika flag under German National Socialism came from an American national socialist, Francis Bellamy, and his  pledge of allegiance to the U.S. flag. The pledge of allegiance was an earlier wordier "Sieg Heil" (Hail to Victory -victory over the southern states) or "Heil Nation" (Hail to the Bellamy’s nationalism, nationalization and military socialism). http://rexcurry.net/pledge1.html

The pledge expressed the totalitarian socialism of his cousin and cohort Edward Bellamy, as detailed in “Looking Backward,” Edward’s book and weltanschauung. The Bellamys wanted to impose "military socialism" because they loved the War of Northern Aggression against southern independence.  The pledge memorializes their view, especially the phrase “one nation, indivisible.”   "Preservation of the Union" was like “lebensraum” in the Bellamy mind. That is why the Bellamys are known as the first American Nazis.  They were domestic Hitlers.

The original pledge used a straight-arm salute beginning in 1892. As the nation's leading authority on the pledge of allegiance, RexCurry.net made the historic discovery that the salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis) originated from the military salute in the USA, and from the original flag pledge (as written by a socialist from Rome, New York, and not from ancient Rome, Italy). http://rexcurry.net/pledgerome.html

Compare the Pledge of Allegiance (1892) to another form of hailing the flag: The U.S. National Anthem (the Star Spangled Banner, (a reference to the flag)). The lyrics state: "Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed...(the flag)." "The Star-Spangled Banner" was recognized for official use by the Navy in 1889 and the President in 1916. On March 3, 1931 (after Hitler gained electoral success) the song was made the national anthem by a congressional resolution on March 3, 1931 (46 Stat. 1508, codified at 36 U.S.C. § 301), which was signed by President Herbert Hoover infamous for various socialist programs (e.g. Hoover Dam).  The Star Spangled Banner was based on the poem "Defence of Fort McHenry" written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key.

Before 1931, a competitor to the "Star Spangled Banner" was "Hail, Columbia," from President Washington's time and through the 18th and 19th centuries.

In the word "Halloween," hallow comes from Middle English halwen, the descendant of Old English halgian. It derives from the same source as hale as in "hale and hearty" and the greeting, Hail!, which led to the verb, to hail (e.g. hail a cab). Both of those words are related to "heal," the root of "health." As previously indicated, heal is akin to German "heil" meanding "health, salvation," and the salutes, "Heil Hitler!" ("Hail, Hitler") and "Sieg Heil!" ("Hail Victory!"), used by German National Socialists before and during World War II.

In Austria and Germany "Heil" is a very common and normal salute still used in many special greetings, e.g. "Schi Heil" for skiers, "Berg Heil" for mountain climbers, "Weidmanns Heil" for hunters, et cetera. The winter greeting in the Alps is "Ski-heil." In those uses, the word "Heil" is said to mean "health" and "good luck" (and "good luck" is a common "translation" for the swastika symbol and for the word "swastika," although German socialists did not call their symbol a swastika).

Los Angeles officials asked that suppliers of computer equipment stop using the terms "master" and "slave," saying such terms are offensive. The terms are sometimes used in reference to computer equipment.http://rexcurry.net/wordmaster.html

It is unclear whether the official policy applies to the words "Mr." and "Mrs." (Mister and Mistress) which are forms of "Master."

It is unclear whether the official policy applies to the words "Slav" or "Slavic," the origin of the word "slave."

News outlets reported that a "discrimination complaint" alleged "offended sensitivities." The media did not report whether any Slav or the descendant of a Slav made the complaint. No one asked the Slavic community for comments at all.

If it hasn't been done already, a complaint can be filed against the terms "Mr." and "Mrs." and "Slav" so that Los Angeles officials can expand their policy.

Reporters recounted that in 2000, the Los Angeles City Council supported federal legislation seeking reparations for descendants of slaves. Not a single reporter revealed how much money any Slav descendant might receive, nor even whether the Slavic community supports the legislation.

In the Hawaii Reporter Newspaper, the etymologist Dr. Rex Curry explained that the word "slave" has the etymological root "Slav" because Slavs were often enslaved ("Too Politically Correct: Los Angeles Bans 'Master & Slave' and 'Mr. & Slav,' published 12/1/2003). "Slavic" refers to a lot of people, including Caucasian, Slovak (Czechoslovakian), Slovene (Slovenia & parts of Austria & Italy), Polish, Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Russian.
http://rexcurry.net/wordsmain.html

People who continue to be classified as "Whites" (as distinguished from people who are classified as "blacks") were enslaved around the world -- especially the Slavs, from whom the word is derived in both European languages and in Arabic.

According to the syndicated columnist Thomas Sowell, white slaves were still being bought and sold in Egypt years after the Emancipation Proclamation had freed many blacks in the United States.

Not only does slavery predate the U.S., slavery is a practice that socialists and communists perpetuated well beyond the end of slavery in the U.S., perpetuating slavery even into the 1950s, arguably beyond.

Soviet socialists diverted the rivers that fed the inland Aral Sea and used them to irrigate vast cotton fields where socialist slaves were forced to pick cotton (This is not a joke). Many of those socialist slaves actually were slavs (the etymological root of the word "slave" due to the fact that even farther back in history, slavs were slaves.  The Aral Sea was once the world's fourth-largest body of fresh water, covering an area the size of Ireland. But then the nation around it were enslaved by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Their looney planned economics and leviathan schemes shrank the Aral by 90 percent to a string of isolated stretches of water. Long after Soviet socialism collapsed, the Aral Sea began to recover.

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics even dictated the manufacture of a watch bearing the name "SLAVA." Thus, it was a watch built by socialist slaves under dictates of socialist slavery and it was named "slava." http://rexcurry.net/slava-watch-soviet-socialist-slaves-ussr.jpg

Eventually the USSR realized the negative connotations of the watch's name in the West. The name was changed to "Craba." In Cyrillic, the word "slavs" is "славянин."

In addition to imposing slavery, socialists also perpetrated genocide. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Peoples' Republic of China and the National Socialist German Workers' Party perpetrated the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; and ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
http://rexcurry.net/socialism-red-flags-socialists1c.jpg

On August 23, 1939, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics joined with the National Socialist German Workers' Party to invade Poland in a pact to divide up Europe.  The National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSGWP) invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, and Soviet Socialists followed shortly thereafter (Sept. 17). In their role as allies, Soviet Socialists slaughtered more people in Poland than did German Socialists. http://rexcurry.net/socialists.html
...............................................
Throughout history, the Serbs have been situated between two important cultures: the Byzantine East (Islamic East) and the Latin West. They were subjugated into slavery by the Moslem Turks for over five centuries during the Middle Ages.

Slavs were the origin of the word "slave" in European lanuages and in Arabic.
The word "Slav" is also related to the word "Serb," which is related to the origin of the words "serf" and "serve" and "servitude," again via the same root concept of "slave."

Under socialism, Slavs and Serbs became slaves once again: socialist slaves. After the collapse of the Soviet Socialism, Slavs and Serbs celebrated freedom again.

After the collapse of Soviet Socialism, the Slava watch factory and its property were expected to be rescued from socialism and returned (sold) on the open market, in economic freedom, and capitalism, as private property for retail development.

Today, the word "slava" has many meanings in Russia, Serbia and other countries. "Slava" often is praise and glorification for deliverance from slavey. It is often directed toward a saint believed to have interceded for deliverance. A Slava sometimes celebrates the day that a family's main ancestor killed his first Turkish soldier during the wars between Serbia and Turkey. Slava celebrations have many parallels to Passover celebrations, including commemoration of exodus from slavery.

The Slava celebration revived in Serbia after the fall of the socialist regime in Yugoslavia.

The doomsday clock of socialism continues to symbolize the threat of shortages, poverty, misery, starvation, atrocities and mass slaughter. The closest that the doomsday clock came to striking midnight was during the years occupied by the the hate-spewing paramilitary societies created in the socialist trio of atrocities (above). They killed more people than would three nuclear bombs. The world still has not rejected their philosophy of socialism and the deaths mount as the bomb's clock keeps ticking.

LAMBACH ABBEY BENEDICTINE AUSTRIA SWASTIKA

A lot of fascinating research examines the influence of religion and socialism upon government. Many authors worry still about the potential for a future filled with persecution and totalitarianism. Those worries have relevance to the enormous size and scope of government in the USA and its growing police state.
http://rexcurry.net/lambach-abbey-benedictine-austria-swastika.html

The leader of the National Socialist German Workers' Party might have had his first contact with the swastika when he was a young student with the Benedictines at the Abbey of Lambach-am-Traum in upper Austria. At Lambach he saw the swastika engraved on the four corners of the monastery, where it had been sculpted several years before, pursuant to orders of the abbot, Theodorich Hagen. Next to the symbol were the letters "AL" for "Abbey Lambach" and the letters "TH" for Theodorich Hagen, and the year 1869. It is interesting to note that the four letters on the Abbey emblem included the initials "AH." When young "AH"  (April 20, 1889 – April 30, 1945) became a student at Lambach, Father Hagen had already died, but the swastikas Hagen ordered carved were still there.
http://rexcurry.net/swastika-lambach-abbey.gif

There are amazing parallels to the swastika symbol used by the Krit Motor Car Company. http://rexcurry.net/krit_motor_car_company_detroit.html

Many writers (e.g. Wakipedia) suggest supernatural powers for the swastika with information such as this: "An erudite ecclesiastic, Father Hagen had studied astrology and the occult sciences. In 1856 he made a trip to the Near East, visiting Persia, Arabia, Turkey, and the Caucasus. Upon his return to Lambach in 1868 he hired workers to sculpt the swastika on the four corners of the building and on other religious objects."

That sort of nonsense pleased the National Socialist leader because he knew people were impressed and influenced by mystery.

Such writers overlooked the amazing discoveries made by the noted cryptologist Dr. Rex Curry.  http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html  They failed to note the connection between the abbot's name and the symbol he carved. In the German language, the symbol is not called a swastika.

Most people do not know that a cross was worshiped as the notorious symbol of the National Socialist German Workers' Party. The group called their symbol the Hakenkreuz, not the swastika. Hakenkreuz means "hooked cross." It is one of the biggest cover-ups in history. The hooked cross became a symbol of Christian Socialism. http://rexcurry.net/christian-socialism-social-gospel.html

Instead of sinister occult symbolism, the German Hakenkreuz was converted into a whimsical "Hagenkreuz" billboard by the abbot (it is interesting to know that "Theodorich" means God's gift).

The "Abbott & Costello" humor continued under the man with the Charlie Chaplin moustache, where it turned dark. The "Hagenkreuz" became the "Hitlerkreuz." He also imitated the form of the cartouche and the "AL" and "TH" initials (by substituting his own "AH"). http://rexcurry.net/swastika-reichs-chancellery.jpg

It is also interesting to note that the heritage of Hitler's name included "Adolf Schicklgruber."  The leader of German National Socialism altered his own signature so that "Adolf" resembled a large "S" for "socialist."  The doppelsieg became the mark of the "Schicklgruber Socialist" for "Schicklgruber Socialism."

Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, the symbologist Dr. Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") discovered that it was also used sometimes by German National Socialists to represent "S" letters for their "socialism."  The leader of German National Socialism rotated the symbol 45 degrees and had newer uses oriented clockwise. http://rexcurry.net/swastika3swastika.jpg

Adolf Hitler put it on his flag and made everyone worship with salutes and chants. He combined the cross with collectivism, merged church and state, meshed religion and socialism, and mandateed the worship of government. He altered his own signature to use the same symbolism, and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

The Abbey Lambach supports Dr. Curry's work because it shows that the German National Socialist leader altered the symbol to create clear "S" letters for his "socialism."

In the 1930's, religious people were persecuted for refusing to give the straight-arm salute to the national flag. That persecution occurred in the USA (to the stars and stripes) and in Germany (to the swastika flag) at the same time.

The early Pledge of Allegiance used a straight-arm salute and it was the origin of the salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, as shown in recent discoveries by Dr. Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). The USA used the straight arm salute to the national flag for three decades before German National Socialists started doing the same thing.

The straight-arm salute was created by Francis Bellamy, a minister who lost his position because he used the pulpit to push what he called "Christian Socialism" in sermons on themes like "Jesus the Socialist." http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Francis was cousin and cohort to Edward Bellamy, author of "Looking Backward" an international bestseller that was known as the Bible of National Socialism. Edward also authored "The Religion of Solidarity" and other articles and books with similar ideas.

Both Bellamys worked to promote Christian Socialism.  They wanted the government to take over all schools to spread their dogma. Both Bellamys descended from a long line of men who touted similar dogma for generations. http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter1a1i.html

It was the same dogma that led to the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): 65 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR); 49 million under the Peoples' Republic of China (PRC); 21 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP).

It all shows how close the USA came (and is still coming) to the socialist Wholecaust. Many Americans serve as sad examples of how places like that come into existence, grow so large, last so long, and kill so many.

Historians make their work relevant to current events. Such stories are relevant to the fact that the present government in the USA is anti libertarian and is out-socializing the previous administration by more than double and growing (in social spending ALONE). The demonic dogma of socialism, sacrifice, and self-sacrifice is still growing all over the world.

The government should not run Sunday school, nor Monday school through Friday school. The First Amendment should be enlarged to state that congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of education nor an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.  The separation of school and state is as important as the separation of church and state.

Another Nazi myth has been exposed by Professor Rex Curry.  The myth cites a book entitled "The Nazi-Sozi Questions and Answers" (or Der Nazi-Sozi by Dr. Jospeh Goebbels) as "proof" that German National Socialists referred to themselves as "Nazis." http://rexcurry.net/swastika-nazi-sozi-goebbels.html

The book is cited by people who have never actually looked at the publication.  The term "Nazi-Sozi" only appears on the cover of that publication, and never appears within the interior text where the terms "National Socialist" and "Socialist" are used by Goebbels throughout to describe the German National Socialists.  Goebbels did not write the cover’s use of the phrase "Nazi-Sozi."  It is not even clear when that cover phrase was created.  Goebbels did not use the term "Nazi" nor "Nazi-Sozi" a single time within that publication.

In the notorious films of that time (e,g, Triumph of the Will), the N-word and the F-word never appear as a self-description, but the German word for "Socialism" and its variations is repeated as a glowing droning self-description throughout.http://rexcurry.net/filmrev-triumph-of-the-will.html

Also see Mein Kampf http://rexcurry.net/book-rev-mein-kampf.html

An almost identical lie told by modern socialists in their vain efforts to distance their dogma from that of German National Socialists is that Goebbels wrote the pamphlet "Those Damned Nazis." The actual name of Goebbels' pamphlet was "Die verfluchten Hakenkreuzler. Etwas zum Nachdenken." Anyone can see that it does not translate as "Those Damned Nazis." It translates as "The cursed Hakenkreuzler. Something to think about." The word "Hakenkreuz" translates as "hooked cross" so that the phrase is closer to "The cursed hooked-cross fan. Something to think about." The pamphlet was widely distributed by German National Socialists from before 1933. It summarizes the propaganda of National Socialists in Germany just before Hitler's takeover in 1933. The booklet included five cartoons by Mjölnir, Goebbels' cartoonist. Mjölnir also produced some of the most familiar Nazi posters. (The source: Joseph Goebbels and Mjölnir, Die verfluchten Hakenkreuzler. Etwas zum Nachdenken, Munich: Verlag Frz. Eher, 1932).

No where in "Die verfluchten Hakenkreuzler. Etwas zum Nachdenken" does the word "Nazi" appear in any form.  So, in that sense the deceitful translation "Those Damned Nazis" is something to think about, and it is something bad to think about regarding rampant modern intellectual dishonesty.
http://www.calvin.edu/academic/cas/gpa/haken32.htm

The same misleading translation probably happened in "The Man Behind Hitler" (A film by Lutz Hachmeister and Michael Kloft, wherein the voice of Joseph Goebbels is performed by Kenneth Branagh, for the PBS show in the American Experience. Also see "The Goebbels Experiment).  The film(s) provide little information about the circumstances surrounding the entries read from Goebbels' diary, and instead the narrators repeatedly insert the words "Nazi" and "Nazi Party" even though the educated viewer notices that the excerpts from Goebbel's diary do not contain the words "Nazi" and "Nazi Party" but repeatedly contain "socialist" and "National Socialists." Then an excerpt is read from the diary on March 15, 1933, "But we Nazis always agree quickly on solutions because we approach everything in a spirit of sound common sense." Based on all the other evidence in the film(s), it is a good bet that Goebbels did not write "Nazi" and that the creators of the film(s) put that word in his mouth in translating "Hakenkreuzler" (and again evading the truth about the vocabulary of Goebbels and the party, as well as avoiding any explanation of the word Hakenkreuz (instead the film perpetuates ignorance by using the misleading term "swastika" always). It raises the possibilitiy that the creators used a diary excerpt for the purpose of translating a word (Hakenkreuzler) into "Nazi" in order to deceitfully make it appear as if Goebbels used the N-word.

German National Socialists were officially known as the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSGWP or National Sozialistische of which Nazi is shorthand).  The Party was originally called the German Workers’ Party, but the words "National" and "Socialist" were added to gain more members and support from other socialists including the Social Democrats, who were known as "Sozi."  Even today, the Viennese refer to the "Sozi Party."  The NSGWP also partnered with the Nationalist Party of Franz von Papen to take power in 1933.

The swastika was also altered to reflect the same socialist symbolism.  Originally, the swastika could point left or right and was usually flat on one side as if drawn within a square.  Eventually, new uses tended to point the swastika to the right and also turned it 45 degrees to the horizontal, to highlight the swastika’ "S" shapes.
http://rexcurry.net/fascism-third-reich-hitler-nazism-swastika456.jpg

Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, Professor Curry discovered that it was also used sometimes by German National Socialists to represent "S" letters for their "socialism."  Curry changed the way that people view the symbol of the horrid National Socialist German Workers' Party. Hitler altered his own signature to use the same stylized "S" letter for "socialist" and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

Dr. Curry showed that many modern myths about swastikas use the false belief that Nazis called their symbol a "swastika."  German National Socialists did not call their symbol a "swastika."

Professor Curry showed that many modern myths use a false belief that Nazis called themselves "Nazis."  The myths cause widespread ignorance of the etymology of the word "Nazi." Party members called themselves "National Socialists," not "Nazis."

The Nazi myth is still repeated in efforts to hide the socialism of the Party as well as its connections to other socialists and anti capitalists within the USA.

The notorious straight-arm salute of German National Socialists came from the USA's early Pledge of Allegiance (to the flag), as shown by Professor Rex Curry.  It was not an ancient Roman salute, and that the "ancient Roman salute" is a myth. http://rexcurry.net/pledgesalute.html  The myth is still repeated in modern efforts to cover-up Dr. Curry's discoveries about the Pledge's poisonous pedigree.

The original Pledge began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag. Historic photographs are at http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html and at http://rexcurry.net/pledge_military.html   In actual use, the second part of the gesture was performed with a straight arm and palm down by children casually performing the forced ritual chanting by merely extending the military salute.  Professor Curry showed that, due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led to the Nazi salute. The Nazi salute is an extended military salute. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Francis Bellamy (author of the "Pledge of Allegiance") and Edward Bellamy (author of the novel "Looking Backward") and Charles Bellamy (author of "A Moment of Madness") and Frederick Bellamy (who introduced Edward to socialistic "Fourierism") were socialists.  Edward, Charles and Frederick were brothers, and Francis was their cousin. Francis and Edward were both self-proclaimed National Socialists and they supported the "Nationalism" movement in the USA, the "Nationalist" magazine, the "Nationalist Educational Association," and their dogma of "military socialism" and the "industrial army," and Edward inspired the "Nationalist Party" (in the USA) and their dogma influenced socialists worldwide (including Germany) via “Nationalist Clubs.”
 http://rexcurry.net/bellamy-edward-german-connections.html

Germany's National Socialism existed before the socialist Mussolini switched to using his newer (and his final) political phrase.  German Socialism began in Bohemia, not in Italy. The Czechoslovakian National Socialist Party, founded in 1896 by nationalistic dissidents from the Czech Socialist Party. They inspired Germans from Bohemia and Moravia, who created the German Workers' Party in 1913. In Vienna, Austria the name was changed to the 'German National Socialist Workers' Party' (DNSAP) in 1918.

Capitalists under German National Socialism were oppressed in the same manner as the 'patriotic capitalists' in Mao's China.  They were mere bureaucrats in a planned economy, ordered to do as told, and stripped of individual thoughts and acts.

The book "Destined to Witness : Growing Up Black in Nazi Germany" by Hans J. Massaquoi contains some of the rare uses of the word "Sozi" on the Amazon book website: ".....the Social Democrats, or Sozis, by contrast, often looked ragged and undisciplined to me during their demonstrations, having chosen to project an exaggerated proletarian image....” and “....the ‘three iron arrows’ banner of the Sozis...."

The author sought intellectual escape from German socialism through reading books and in his idealization of the African-American Jesse Owens.   Yet, the author seems unaware of the fact that when before, during and after Owens competed in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, the Pledge of Allegiance to the US flag used the straight-arm salute and was the origin of the salute of the German National Socialists.

Even after his postwar immigration to the United States, the author witnessed the results of socialism’s racial inequality in the USA. His journey from Nazi Germany to the post-Civil Rights United States makes for interesting reading but it is not recounted with an eye for detail.

Francis Bellamy, the author of the Pledge of Allegiance, was a self-proclaimed National Socialist who wanted the government to take over all schools, and he wrote the Pledge to promote that goal.  When the government granted his wish of socialism for education, the government schools imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official government policy.  Massaquoi seems to be unaware of those facts.

Today, the flag symbolizes authoritarianism in the USA. The historical facts above explain the enormous size and scope of government today, and the USA's police state, and why it is growing so rapidly.  They are reasons for massive reductions in government, taxation, spending and socialism.

It is a reminder of the socialist Wholecaust  (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~20 million dead under the National Socialist German Workers' Party; ~60 million dead under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million dead under the Peoples' Republic of China. It is a reminder that the Wholecaust and the Holocaust killed many people of various races and classes.

On 16 June 1941, five days before Germany under the National Socialist German Workers Party attacked its ally and co-conspirator, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, "Goebbels exulted, in the privacy of his diary, in the victory over Bolshevism that he believed would quickly follow. There would be no restoration of the tsars, he remarked to himself, after Russia had been conquered. But Jewish Bolshevism would be uprooted in Russia and "real socialism" planted in its place - "Der echte Sozialismus". Goebbels was a liar, to be sure, but no one can explain why he would lie to his diaries. And to the end of his days he believed that socialism was what National Socialism was about."  - from The Lost Literature of Socialism by George Watson is published by Lutterworth

Francis Bellamy (cousin of author Edward Bellamy) was a socialist in the Nationalism movement and authored the Pledge of Allegiance (1892), the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted much later by the National Socialist German Workers Party. See the work of the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry. http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

The early pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. In practice, the second gesture was performed palm-down with a stiff-arm when the military salute was merely pointed out at the flag. Thus, the military salute led to the Nazi salute in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States. http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html

It was not an ancient Roman salute. That is a myth debunked by Dr. Curry, who showed that the myth came from the Pledge.

American national socialists (including Edward Bellamy), in cooperation with Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, popularized the use of the Swastika (an ancient symbol) as a modern symbol for socialism long before the symbol was adopted by the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis). http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

The Bellamys influenced the National Socialist German Workers Party and its dogma, rituals and symbols (including the modern use of the swastika as crossed S-letters for "Socialism" under German National Socialism). Similar alphabetical symbolism was used under the NSDAP for the "SS" division, the "SA," the "NSV," et cetera and similar symbolism is visible today as the Volkswagen VW logo.
http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter4a1a2a1.html

Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF or German Labor Front) logos used a swastika encircled by a cogwheel. It was the origin of the Volkswagen logo, both philosophically and stylistically. http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter4a1a2a1.html

The emblem is encircled by the words MODELL DES AMTES SCHÖNHEIT DER ARBEIT (Approved Model of the Office of Beauty of Labor) in the following linked example image from porcelain that also shows the the Rosenthal crown logo.
http://rexcurry.net/deutsche-arbeitsfront-DAF-german-labor-front.jpg

The Office of Schönheit der Arbeit of the DAF decided what constituted kitsch (trash) in Germany and what constituted good industrial design under German socialism. Firms that produced what the socialists wanted were allowed to use the MODELL DES AMTES SCHÖNHEIT DER ARBEIT cogged wheel and swastika logo of the DAF as a seal of approval. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

The swastika was used as S-letters for "Socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party, as shown by the world-renowned symbolist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

Volkswagen's meshed VW logo letters are another example of alphabetical symbolism that is similar to the meshed S-letters of the swastika for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party. http://rexcurry.net/swastika-audi-logo.JPG

Could the Harvard rallying cry "Rinehart" be the origin of the "Heil Hitler" chant and related to the American origin of the stiff-armed Nazi salute?
http://rexcurry.net/pledge_of_allegiance_videos_images.html

A connection might exist through the influence of Harvard grad Ernst Hanfstaengl. Hanfstaengl was a close associate of Hitler. Hanfstaengl had attended school in the United States during the time when the United States used the stiff-arm salute in the Pledge of Allegiance and elsewhere. http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance2.jpg

The stiff-arm salute originated from the Pledge of Allegiance, which was written in 1892. It was the source of the salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party, as shown in the work of the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Hanfstaengl created the infamous "Heil Hitler" chant, he spread America's straight-arm salute in Germany, and he taught the German National Socialist leader to use swastika-style symbolism in signatures. http://rexcurry.net/swastika-hanfstaengl.html

A youtube video explains more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

The Harvard rallying cry "Rinehart!" is mentioned in the 1939 movie "The Great Man Votes" starring John Barrymore.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge_of_allegiance_videos_images.html

The movie shows how the "Rinehart" cry spread through American popular culture.

Also, the song "Harvard Blues," written by Harvard graduate George Frazer and recorded by Count Basie (1941), includes the line, "Rinehart, Rinehart, I am a most indifferent guy . . ."

According to a Harvard magazine article, Basie was charmed by the second stage of the Rinehart legend: "In his 1984 biography of Frazier, 'Another Man's Poison,' Charles Fountain reports that in 1941 Frazier regaled his friend Basie with a sadsack version of the legend: 'Rinehart was a friendless young Harvard who tried to present the illusion that he was in truth a popular sort by standing under his dormitory window and hailing himself,' wrote Fountain. 'Every other November, on the eve or the morning of the Harvard-Yale game, part of the atmosphere in the lobby of the Taft Hotel in New Haven was the faithful and incessant paging of Mr. Rinehart—'Call for Mr. Rinehart! Call for Mr. Rinehart!'— with never a Mr. Rinehart to answer.' "

The legend presents some amusing parallels to Adolf Hitler (and Ernst Hanfstaengl).

According to an article by David Winter in the Journal of Personality,by the 1930s, the cry of "Rinehart!" often signaled the beginning of a college riot.

The song was popular and became a regular part of the shows Basie gave on college campuses. It enjoyed some critical acclaim, the New York Times's jazz critic calling it one of the "greatest of all blues lyrics."

According to the article by David Winter the custom seems to have died out after World War II. Hmmm, 'wonder why?

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

The Pledge of Allegiance (1892) was the origin of the raised arm salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis). The Pledge was written by Francis Bellamy, cousin to Edward Bellamy (the author), and both were self-proclaimed national socialists in the United States. The original Pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. In practice, the second gesture was performed palm down. The gesture was not an ancient Roman salute. All of the above are part of the discoveries of the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). The images below are from the movie "The vanishing American" (1925 by George B. Seitz) based on the Zane Grey novel. The film covers the history of native American Indians, continuing through World War I. History, as portrayed in this film, has been a succession of conquests of stronger races over weaker ones. Life on a reservation is portrayed. The impact of WWI is shown (and during that time, when the United States fought Germany, the United States used the stiff-armed salute). For more information visit RexCurry.net. http://rexcurry.net/pledge_of_allegiance.jpg

Lois Wilson (as Marion Warner) is a teacher at a reservation school for native Americans. She befriends the tribal leader Nophaie (Richard Dix) and teaches him to read. She also converts hime to Christianity. She persuades him that WWI is a fight for a better world, and that afterward the Indians will be treated better. Nophaie provides horses to the Army and he and many other Indians join the battle.

This movie shows reality: native American Indians were taught the stiff-arm salute (as were children all over the country). It questions the authenticity of the so-called native American Indian greeting of "How" with the raised flat palm of the right hand. Is the Indian greeting a myth that sprang from films that were influenced by the early Pledge of Allegiance? All Indians did not say "How." Some commentary on the topic indicate that of the Indians who did say "How" the Indian term meant "Hello". According to one source the Tetons said "howo" and "ho," the Dakota had "hao" and "ho," and the Omaha had "hau". Yet the commentator fails to ask the obvious question: Were those Indian words merely adoptions/corruptions of the word "Hello"? It would add another odd layer to the fact that the word "Hello" is etymologically related to the word "Heil." Thus, Native American Indians would have been taught the stiff-armed salute, the swastika, and an etymological cousin of "Heil." http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

Joe Smith, American: The title of the movie harkens to the "All American" family, as shown in the 1942 movie, which includes the early Pledge salute performed with the hand twisted somewhat in a "cleaned up" version of the gesture in order to distance it from that of the National Socialist German Workers Party, the enemy in the movie "Joe Smith, American." At that time, many Americans performed the Pledge using the the classic stiff-arm palm-down gesture. 1942 is when Congress decided to try to change it completely to the hand-over-the-heart. Many Americans did not care if German Socialists were using the salute because many Americans said it was "our salute" and "we did it first" and that was totally correct. The USA was the origin of the stiff-arm palm-down salute and mechanical chanting to flags en masse, flag fetishism and military socialism, from 1892.

The American attitude toward its stiff-arm salute was similar to the attitude about the swastika, as expressed in a label used by the Swastika Drug Company: "Hilter be Damned. This was our sign since 1922." http://rexcurry.net/swastika-drug-company-from1922.jpg

Sometimes the flag to which Americans pledged allegiance with their straight-arm salute was paired with the swastika http://rexcurry.net/swastika-flag2.JPG

Today, politicians and bureaucrats in government schools continue to bitterly cling to the Pledge of Allegiance.

Below is another example from the 1939 Film "The Great Man Votes" (release date January 13, 1939). Notice how the flag is held low, and not on a pole up on the wall, in an effort to keep the arms down. Note that there are different positions for the palms in the film clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L82lVcmIMSk

It is also interesting to note that the person who posted the clip on youtube seemed ignorant of the early pledge gesture, and did not even make mention of it. Instead, the only mention was of the lack of the phrase "under God." That is so stereotypically the case regarding people who post comments about the early Pledge of Allegiance (and it is especially interesting in regard to atheists who discuss at length the lack of the phrase "under God" in early video example of the pledge, but never mention anything else about it, including no mention of the stiff-armed gesture staring them in the face).

1939 is the year that the National Socialist German Workers Party joined as allies with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in a pact to divide up Europe. They invaded Poland together, which many consider the start of WWII. It was part of the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples Republic of China; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers Party.

Adolf Hitler, head of the National Socialist German Workers Party was elected to office by voters, and gained dictatorship via inducements to and from politicians.

Here is a description of the film "The Great Man Votes": Gregory Vance, a widower with two children, is a former professor who has turned into a drunkard. He works, slightly, as a night-watchman and his children, who know him for what he is and what he isn't, are his only admirers. Then, it is discovered that he is the only registered voter in a key precinct and the politicians, from both parties, arrive in droves bearing inducements. What he does about this situation, and the relatives who want to take his children away from him make up the story.

It is a 1939 starred John Barrymore. It was based on the short story of the same name by Gordon Malherbe Hillman.

Here is a more "cleaned up" version in the evolution and eventual demise of the American salute from 1949 (well after WWII was over) in the movie "The Red Pony" in which the Pledge is being distanced as the source of the salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA0A0ymd0CM

"The Red Pony" movie shows a "cleaned up" version of America's Nazi salute from 1949 (well after WWII was over). In the film, the Pledge is being distanced as the source of the salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, as exposed by the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). The government and its government schools (socialist schools) were effective in their propaganda to cover up their truth about the Pledge even in the cinema. Even so, the film "The Red Pony" (1949) does it poorly, as it continues to show the mechanical chanting in unison, in military formation, on command in socialist schools. Note that even the original military salute (the initial salute) appears to have been dropped (the military salute was extended out and thus led to the classic palm-down stiff-arm salute). Also in this fictional film version, the arms are kept low (because the flag is placed low, and the gesture is to the flag). The arms are so low that the children are begging for handouts from their socialist government, like panhandlers asking for spare change. It fits with the National Socialist dogma of Francis Bellamy (the Pledge's author), Edward Bellamy (his cousin) and the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (~60 million slaughtered), the Peoples' Republic of China (~50 million slaughtered), and the National Socialist German Workers Party (~20 million slaughtered).

A video clip shows Porky Pig performing the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and it is very different from the modern version of the pledge.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI6C5JtoKms

The clip can also be viewed with others at http://rexcurry.net/pledge_of_allegiance_videos_images.html

In it, Porky Pig performs only the first part (the military salute) of the early American salute and does not perform the second gesture (the stiff-armed salute) at all.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance2.jpg

What is even more amazing than the above description is that there are three or more posts of that Porky Pig clip
(from the cartoon "Old Glory") on Youtube and NONE of them remark about the salute/gesture, nor do any of them criticize the Pledge as a whole. The Pledge was written and supported by National Socialists e.g. Francis Bellamy and Edward Bellamy) in the USA and it was the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted later by the National Socialists German Workers Party, as shown in the discoveries of the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). American National Socialists influenced the dogma, symbolism and rituals of the Nazis (German National Socialists). See the better Youtube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

The Youtube posters all ONLY criticize the phrase "under God" that was added in 1954 (the Porky Pig clip is from 1939).

That is a remarkable display of ignorance and intellectual dishonesty by the atheists who post those clips. It also suggests that those posters share the disturbing trait of supporting the robotic chanting ritual (other than the two-word deification) and the authoritarian dogma that inspired it and that maintains it. http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

It was the same dogma behind the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (~60 million slaughtered), the Peoples' Republic of China (~50 million slaughtered), and the National Socialist German Workers Party (~20 million slaughtered).

Nazi salutes are more accurately identified as American salutes (used in the early Pledge of Allegiance three decades before it was adopted by the National Socialist German Workers Party). It was created and promoted by National Socialists in the USA (e.g. Francis Bellamy & Edward Bellamy). The Bellamys and their cohorts influenced the dogma, symbols and rituals of German National Socialists. http://rexcurry.net/pledge5.html

Today, Americans are persecuted for performing the early American salute. They are persecuted in ways that are similar to how Americans are persecuted for refusing to perform the current American salute and the Pledge of Allegiance (especially children persecuted in government schools / socialist schools). http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance.jpg

Here is a video of someone being persecuted for the American salute. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2487274467636094262

The incident resulted in litigation that went to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/media/view_subpage.php?pk_id=0000003646

The blogger Becky Johnson discusses it at http://beckyjohnsononewomantalking.blogspot.com/2009/07/9th-circuit-court-hears-arguments-on.html

That blog utilized the tags David Beauvais, Kate Wells, Scott Kennedy, Tim Fitzmaurice, Robert Norse, Nazi Salute.

It would be funny if the fellow how performed the gesture argued that to the Court (that he is being persecuted for the early American salute), however he is probably ignorant of it. However, the 9th Circuit is not ignorant of it because they have a brief by the Attorney and historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets") in the case of Michael Newdow v. Carey that is currently before the 9th, and that brief is visible online. That brief explains the early American salute.

Also he performed it wrong anyway, with his left arm.

Pledge of Allegiance comments on other sites are often inaccurate, and such a site appeared today.  It states that it was "noticed that the American salute bore a striking resemblance to a salute that another country was using" when the truth is that the early American gesture was in fact the same salute and the American salute was the ORIGIN of the salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party (see the work of the historian Dr. Rex Curry, author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). http://rexcurry.net

After the rise of German National Socialism, the American salute did not quickly fall out of style in that the American salute originated from 1892 and the National Socialist German Workers Party began in 1920 and grew through the 30's and beyond and Congress decided to try to change the gesture in 1942 AFTER the USA became involved in WWII. In reference to America's stiff-arm gesture, some Americans said "We did it first" and "its our salute" and everyone did not immediately embrace the hand-over-the-heart.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance2.jpg

The stiff armed gesture developed because the Bellamy salute began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. Also, Francis Bellamy (and his cousin Edward Bellamy) were not only socialists, they were nationalists, similar the 2 words added to the German Workers Party by Hitler. http://rexcurry.net/swastika3swastika.jpg

Using the outstretched salute is NOT a tradition that goes all the way back to the Romans, but that is a common myth. The stiff-arm gesture originated in the USA (from the Pledge) along with the robotic ritualism of chanting to the national flag in government schools.

Roman Salute: Cinema, History & Ideology myths & Martin Winkler & Robyn Blumner (St. Petersburg Times) debunked. http://rexcurry.net/roman-salute-martin-winkler.html The Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) as shown by Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). The Pledge's early right-arm salute was not an ancient Roman salute. The ancient Roman salute is a myth. The 'ancient Roman salute' myth came from the Pledge. A new documentary video movie exposes the shocking facts on youtube The original Pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. In practice the second gesture was performed palm down by children casually performing the forced ritual chanting. Thus, the stiff-arm salute resulted from the military salute extended outward in the pledge. http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance.jpg The Pledge was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy. I work for the "Stop The Pledge" foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to freeing Americans from the Pledge of Allegiance and its putrid past of robotic nazi-style brainwashing. Americans are ignorant about their Pledge of Allegiance. Please see the work of the historian Dr. Rex Curry cited in the book "Libertarian History" by the author Lin Xun. It includes these shockers: (1) that the "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag" was the origin of the Nazi salute and Nazi behavior; (2) that the military salute was the origin of the Nazi salute (via the military salute's use in the original Pledge of Allegiance) and; (3) Swastikas represented crossed "S" letter shapes for "socialist" under Hitler.
